Hello, Andrejs
It's nice that ETB test-version is working!
Unfortunately every time I try to search a term that I know is included in ETB, a message pops up saying "the page is unavailable; try again". Evidently there are some problems of technical nature: you should check it I suppose. Last time when I checked it, everything was OK.
I will also have a structured comment on the data structure in some resources where it must have been thoroughly simplified, which I hope will be corrected. But I guess there will be time during the conference to discuss it in detail. Of course I can also do it on the forum here.
Best regards,
Tomasz. |

I am sorry, Andrejs - I forgot to mark any search options, so no wonder I had no results!
Search is very effective indeed.
Best regards,
Tomasz. |
| Entry compunding is done by automatic process. It is not always precise, should be taken with caution. |

Thanks for the creators of the term-bank - good job indeed! I'm just curious, what is the reliability rate in this data-base and level of subjectivity? Well, I see that a lot of sources are used (as reference) to present term equivalents in the target language, but I still hope this term-bank is just the source of versions of terms and not really the source of 'only truth' as I believe that the more users will take use it as 100% relaiable source, the more imprecise and controversial terms will enter the language and occupy a 'settled position' there. I checked just a few terms which I have analysed rather thoroughly and discovered that the automatically provided equivalents are extremely controversial. Anyhow, good luck in the process of improvement of the term-bank! I hope that there will be a lot of committed society members who will be interested to take part in this process.. |
